Good talk, hipster

 …well, useless until you know people who are on them.

      I got a tumblr quite a while ago, probably about 5 months ago to be exact. I joined tumblr because after NSLC (the best summer of my life (i’ll explain in a later post)) I thought everyone I knew had one. After going on and not finding anyone I gave up, assuming that it was just a waste of time anyway. I felt the same way about twitter too. Now I can’t be without it. Anyway, 5 months later I’m back on and this time I think it’s for good. Because I now know people on tumbr. What i’m trying to say here (in a very long, drawn out, and convoluted way) is that; like other social networking/blog sites tumblr is nothing without the people! If there weren’t people to be ignorant so you could laugh at them, or be just like you so you could love people you don’t know, or tell you news before the news channels do…then what would the point of all of this be? THERE WOULDN’T BE ONE!!! (haha sorry got a little worked up)What i’m trying to say here is, I love people. Not the people I know, but the people I don’t know that I wish I did. Without them my life would be useless, I wouldn’t know who I am or who I want to be; without those invisible people who don’t exist outside of my twitter page, I wouldn’t have anyone to pretend to be! And that’s the beauty of the Internet, well, really just social media sites but ya know.
